The network management specialization focuses on management of network support personnel. The network manager will have some of the skills and background of the network administrator, but will also be involved in the broader issues of network support and configuration.

Typical responsibilities:

  • Ensures the efficient operation of computer networks.
  • Provides technical expertise for performance and configuration of networks.
  • Supervises the maintenance of systems.
  • Communicates with all users across a variety of platforms and operating systems.
