What is MWD²?
MWD² is where technology meets communication, problem solving, and art. In today’s fast paced world, the internet and interactive media have become prevalent in every field. From education and business to the advertising and entertainment industries, almost every area of society engages in some form of multimedia. The MWD² major focuses on using and applying ever changing internet and multimedia technologies while also educating students to work together and communicate in order to create applications that demonstrate both functionality and design. All students are introduced to the basics of programming, design, and communication so they can gain a familiarity with the concepts and technologies.
