MWD² is an interdisciplinary program that attracts faculty from backgrounds ranging from computer science to marketing. This gives students the ability to learn about technology from different perspectives and it provides them with a unique set of resources with which to develop their specialization areas.

An active professor of Computer Science and Multimedia Web Design and Development and the Chair of MWD². His interests lie in the UNIX operating system, system-level programming, network administration, and human / computer interaction. Professor Gray regularly teaches CS175 Introduction to Internet Programming and on occasion, CS 111 Programming Foundations (Visual Basic). Both courses are part of the MWD² major.

A professor of Sociology and Multimedia Web Design & Development. He focuses on the interactive aspects of the Web and Internet with an emphasis on information construction and communication. His interests stem from a background in sociology and applying situational and interactive concepts to the area of computer-mediated social behavior. He teaches the freshman introductory course in technology (AUCT 150), the Flash course (MWD 210), a course in PHP, ASP.NET, C# and SQL (MWD 310) and the capstone course in streaming video (MWD 410). Dr. Sanders is the author of many books on multimedia and computer software.

Dr. Dorn is an Assistant Professor of Computer Science and Multimedia Web Design & Development. His research interests focus on computing education and human-computer interaction, with an emphasis on the development of tools and environments that scaffold users while learning about programming or scripting. He is actively looking for undergraduate MWDD and CS students who are interested in working on research projects; send him an email for more information.

Associate Dean and faculty member of the University Studies Program, RJ McGivney has been the evaluator for the Multimedia Web Design and Development program since its inception. In the role of evaluator, his primary responsibility is to ensure that all Multimedia Web Design and Development students are making satisfactory academic progress.
